Gloria Ramón

Managing Director

Gloria Ramón has seven years of broad based experience in the nonprofit sector. Gloria has led successful development teams, offered guidance and training as a consultant and has provided governance and leadership as a board member. Prior to TAP Gloria was the Development Director at The Way to work where she planned, coordinated and assured implementation of strategies to develop donors and contributions to support the organization. She also previously held the development director position at Teen Voices and was a board member of Community Works in Boston. Gloria received her Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from Muskie School of Public Service at University of Southern Maine and her BA in Sociology from Bryn Mawr College.

Daniel Ruzeu

Animation Group Co-Leader/Instructor

Daniel Ruzeu is a NYC based designer and a graduate of Columbia University's Master of Architecture program. He has multiple years of design experience with firms in New York and has served as a teaching assistant at Columbia. He has over a decade of experience with CAD software and a hands-on background which he brings to bear on the creation of any digital project.

Karen Gibbons

Animation Group Co-Leader/Art Therapist & Counselor

Karen Gibbons is a New York State licensed art therapist. She has worked extensively with children and adolescents. Karen has work published by the Journal of the American Art Therapy Association and has presented in various venues including The American Art Therapy Association Annual Conference. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. In addition to work in art therapy, Karen is a registered yoga instructor and a life-long artist. She exhibits her sculpture, paintings and drawings in New York City and elsewhere.
