IMG_2713.JPG

In TAP’s Animated Storytelling Programs, participants (12-24) engage in educational and therapeutic production-based sessions where they work as a team to tell their story and learn various aspects of the animation pipeline.

WHERE?

  • In School

  • After School

  • Community-Based Organizations

  • TAP Office

What?

  • Participants collaborate to create an original animated video from start to finish.

  • Sessions are led by an animation teaching artist and a creative arts therapist.

  • Through story development and production, participants strengthen social emotional skills.

  • Participants explore education and career pathways in creative fields.

  • The program concludes with a public screening of their completed film.

I have seen a variety of different personalities that wouldn’t usually work together create something amazing.
